Evaluations are being held for players born between 2012 and 2016 on Saturday, 3/22 at Atlantic Coast Performance in East Hartford. Details as follows:
Who is required to participate in the Evaluation?
Softball LLI age 8 (birth year 2016)
- All players who wish to be considered for placement at the Minor AAA (Player Pitch) level must attend the Player Evaluation
- All 8-year-olds who do not attend the Player Evaluation will be placed on a Minor AA (Coach Pitch) team
Softball LLI ages 9, 10, 11, and 12 (birth years 2012 thru 2015)
- All players who did not play at the Majors level in the Spring of 2024 must attend the Player Evaluation
- All players who played at the Majors level in the Spring of 2024 should not attend the Player Evaluation
- All 9-year-olds will be placed at the AAA level of play
- All 12-year-olds will be placed at the Majors level of play
When and where will the Evaluation be?
The Softball Player Evaluations for the AAA/Major Levels of play will be held on Saturday March 22nd at Atlantic Coast Performance (479 Silver Lane, East Hartford, CT).
- 9:00 AM - Coaches/volunteers arrive to setup facility and prepare for evaluations
- 9:30AM - LLI Ages 10/11/12 (Birth years 2012, 2013, & 2014)
- 10:30 AM - LLI Age 9 (Birth year 2015)
- 11:30 AM - LLI Age 8 (Birth year 2016)
All players should arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled start time, and come prepared in athletic attire/sneakers (no cleats) and with bat, helmet, glove, and fielder's mask (SWLL will provide loaner equipment as needed)
